WHAT IS SHE DOING?

I was taking my daily stroll in my neighborhood when I saw this amazing thing. My neighbor is sitting in a lounge chair, in her driveway, READING A BOOK! No cellphone, no tablet; AN ACTUAL BOOK! I stopped an encouraged her to keep reading. We've become a tech society. It's easier to download, swipe and read. I love having a book in my hands, and hearing the sounds of the page being turned, putting a bookmark between the pages, so I can pick up where I left off, or even marking my favorite passages. Libraries aren't even full like they used to be. Seeing Shaniya(name may not be spelled properly) outside under her umbrella lounge chair, reading her book, warmed Mrs. Annie's heart.
